Über viele Jahrhunderte hinweg hat man hier deshalb einen ganz eigenen Umgang mit Kälte und Eis entwickelt und Rituale, Feste und das Alltagsleben der ständigen Präsenz des Schnees angepasst. Mit ihrem Dokumentarfilm "Unter Schnee" versucht Ulrike Ottinger, in eben dieses besondere Leben im Schneeland einen Einblick zu geben.
