日本的三引擎浏览器Lunascape已经发布了Lunascape 6 ORION的首个版本。

Lunascape6Lunascape可能最适合Web开发者使用，因为他们可以在一个应用程序中测试三种渲染引擎：Trident(IE)、Gecko(Firefox)和WebKit，而且它还提供了诸如关闭脚本、Java和ActiveX(使用Trident引擎)的功能。最新的Lunascape 6.0 Orion支持Firefox扩展功能，只适用于使用Gecko引擎，不能在WebKit和Trident下工作。它的界面使用Qt4，暂不支持Windows Aero特效

除了疯狂，我也想不出其他更好的形容词了。

引用来自官网的一句话对这个浏览器进行概述—— 　
　
Lunascape = IE (Trident)＋Firefox (Gecko)＋Chrome・Safari (Webkit)是的，这就是这样一个一个三引擎的浏览器。确实我对于浏览器很有研究，不过三引擎仍然疯狂了一些。 　　

三个引擎，随意切换，随心所欲。 　　

连我自己都受不了这样的话了……
　　
选项方面，还是有些意思的，尤其是我看到他的Gecko (Firefox)的选项竟然是支持附加组件的，非常的有趣。 　　

这个浏览器我在他刚刚推出的时候就有使用过，但是无论如何无法提起长久使用的兴趣，于是一直关注到现在，没想到竟然已经在不知不觉间推出到了6.0。 　　

虽然创意是非常有趣的，不过我想我自己并不会因为这样的创意就去使用这样一个如此麻烦的浏览器。通常来说，上网会常用其中一个引擎，然后辅以另外一个引擎的帮助，这样就足够了。 　
　
那么第三个引擎呢，或许是用来调试的吧，这对于我这样喜欢制作网页的人来说，确实是经常会用到的，不过显然，都已经到三个浏览器了，我们也并不介意把Opera也包括进来。
　
总的来说，这确实是一个有趣的主意，因为三个引擎始终各有优缺点：三个引擎，随意切换，随心所欲。

Gecko：页面渲染效果是我最喜欢的，有附加组件的支持 　　
Webkit：目前最高的效率 　　
Trident：我想不出除了兼容性之外的优点 　　

而假如有一个能够让他们优缺点互补的浏览器，不是也很好嘛？lunascape似乎正是基于这一想法开发的，不过似乎他忘了，引擎只是一部分，更重要的是浏览器本身，这无论Gecko还是Webkit，都是依靠着浏览器本身的优秀才为世人所熟知的。 　
　
把三个浏览器合并到一起，这最初听起来是一个疯狂的想法，不过仔细想想，自己平时使用的不就是双引擎的浏览器吗，Firefox + IE Tab，这绝对可以算是双引擎，考虑到国内网站的特殊情况，这样的配置还是很有必要的。不过第三个浏览器，我除了调试和折腾的时候之外，是绝对不会想到召唤出来的…… 　
　
不过这看来喜欢这个浏览器的人，一定是相当的Geek了吧。

Check out the triple engine

Lunascape includes all three major rendering engines — Trident (Internet Explorer), Gecko (Firefox), and WebKit (Safari, Google Chrome) — and you can easily switch between them at any time. Use different engine in different tab, if you wish. To switch, just click on an icon at the bottom left corner or right-click on an icon attached to the address bar and select an engine you wish to use for the tab. It’s that simple! You can also set up a default engine for all tabs as well as for a particular site. There are a few more ways to switch engines – please check out Help to find the method that fits to your style.

Check out the triple add-on
This is an exciting new feature of Lunascape 6. Import and use all that Firefox and IE add-ons you have been using. If you haven’t imported settings from other browsers yet, just go to File > User Profiles > Import. You can learn more about add-ons here or watch short videos.

Tab away!
You are probably familiar with tab browsing by now, but you can be surprised to see how many tabs you can go smoothly with Lunascape. Want to open 100 tabs? Bring it on. You can drag around a tab and set various behavior options to suit your needs. And now you can even view them side-by-side with cascade display.

Take control

In order to make the most fun out of Lunascape, you’d need to get familiarized with three types of tool bars. Open them all and play with them. For details, please read here.

Change the look
With Lunascape, you can easily change its overall look and feel. You can change the mode or skin with a snap. There are about 200 user designed skins to choose from, and you can make your own, too.

Custom build

You can personalize many features of Lunascape including tab operation, mouse actions, shortcut keys, search, start page, and RSS ticker. It’s really flexible. Just go to Tools > Lunascape Settings and take it from there. Soon you will be a pro.
