这是Adobe 公司推出的一款专业视频制作软件.Adobe Encore 最初的第一版叫 Adobe Encore DVD 1.0，是一个为了相对更 专业的制作 DVD 的工具。第二版就是 Adobe Encore DVD 1.5。第三版才更名为 Adobe Encore CS3。CS3 就不多言了，CS 系列作为 Adobe 的创新工具套件早已深入人心，也一直在按版本号延续。而 Encore 到第三版时已不能简单的说是为了制作 DVD 了，里面含有高清蓝光盘的编著及刻录功能，还有 Adobe 引以为豪的 Flash 编码输出。因此 Encore 作为单一冠名就此开始延续，到现在即为 Adobe Encore CS4。到 CS4 版，Encore 的功能进一步增强，象对 Flash 文件的设置更为复杂，增加蓝光光盘特有的弹出式菜单的设计制作，可以在 Premiere Pro 没有启动的情况下，直接导入其序列进行 DVD 或蓝光的编码与刻录等等。 　　Adobe Encore 过去曾作为一款完全独立的软件存在，但从 CS3 开始，Adobe 将其划归 Premiere Pro 的附属组件，因为取消了 Premiere Pro 2.0 时代的 DVD 编码、设计与刻录集成，Encore 已成为 Premiere 必不可少的一个输出组件，但其更为专业与完善的设计功能，相对更独立的架构，又使其仍可以单独运行。Encore 更像一款为了 Premiere Pro 最终出版视频产品的打包终端，其支持硬件刻录的功能有着明显的物理意义特性。这也是目前为止，它与 Media Encoder 的一个很明显的区别。

Its simplicity of use belies its powerful feature set that allows not only the creation of completed movies but also slideshow presentations. In this VTC project based course, you will not only learn essential theory behind DVD and Blu-ray disc creation, such as transcoding and bitrate budgeting, but you will also see a practical element in that you will learn how to create a project from inception to finished output. Additionally, related Encore CS5 programs such as Adobe Soundbooth and Adobe Photoshop techniques are employed so that you can adapt your project to your specific requirements.
